Summer Checklist/Thank You!

(So this is pretty exciting. Our cruise is in one week from today! I can't wait for it! I wish I were  a little more in shape as swimsuits are a bit of a bummer, but, I'm not going to let that spoil the trip. It is going to be a blast!)

Now onto the blog. . .

Summer is here! I am so excited! Ok ok ok, I am going to make a summer checklist! I must complete all of these items by September first. Yes! Ready? Here it is:

1. Go swimming in our apartment's pool. (Sanitary? I don't know, but we've gotta try it once, right?)

2. Go camping. (Even if it is for just one night.)

3. Go for a bicycle ride around the Daybreak Lake. (Bikes! Yikes!)

4. Watch a sunset. (Awwww, so cheesy!)

5. Seven Peaks! (This will be fun, we got our passes of all passes!)

6. Attend a Bee's baseball game. (Hate the game part, but love the atmosphere.)

7. Sleep under the stars. (Will probably have to do this in my parent's backyard.)

8. Go to sugarhouse park. (My favorite park!)

9. Have a park day. (You know, go to as many different parks as you can in one day.)

10. Attend an outdoor concert. (Rock on!)

Ok so I only have 10. . . .but I want a lot more. Please per-lease give me suggestions and ideas! Please??!

Thank you!
(And thank you to anyone who reads this. I know I don't have many viewers, but I do appreciate the ones I have. I mean, when blogs are written they're obviously meant to be read, so it does feel good when I know it's getting read, you know?? You are the sweetest for taking time out of your schedule to read, skim, ponder the not always so entertaining words I write. Thank you. A thousand times thank you! I probably love you!)

  1. You MUST go camping at Albion Basin mid to late July! The wild flowers up there are so breath taking. EVERYONE has to see that in their lifetime!!!! The altitude is really high, so it gets cold, just to give you a heads up. While you're there, take the Cecret (pronounced Secret) Lake hike. It's an easy hike and so worth the scenery on the way up! It's in Little Cottonwood Canyon, above Alta ski resort. There are some first come, first serve sites, but if you want a guaranteed campout there, you should make a reservation at http://www.reserveamerica.com/
Let me know if you go! I'd love to hear about your trip!! :)

I also HIGHLY suggest that you go Sugarhouse Park for the 4th of July fireworks! Again, something eveyone should experience just once! It's so much fun!!!

Outdoor concerts are BEST at Usana!!! We go to at least 3 a year. SO MUCH FUN!!

If I think of anything else you could do, I'll surely get back to you. Sounds like you've got a fun summer planned and underway. Can't wait to see pictures!
