The first trimester was not an easy one.
It's hard being told you're going to gain weight (when you really want to lose,)
and that you have to be ok with it.
I could barely function I was so tired all the time!
I had a constant fear of miscarrying.
I couldn't tell anyone!! (This killed me!)
I threw up every single Monday, the rest of the week was dry
heaving and feeling nauseous all day.
The only food that settled my stomach was potatoes.
Now I'm on my second trimester!
I wake up several times during the night, I never feel rested. . .
. . . so exhaustion is even worse now.
Nausea only hits late at night.
We finally told people we're expecting, YAY!
I'm still scared of miscarriage, but not as much as I was.
I haven't "popped" yet, I'm just getting chubby, (bummer.)
Fun Fact:
I have 15 other friends on facebook who are pregnant and due between March and July.
It just gets more fun to be preggers, until you are a week overdue...then it is not so fun.
ReplyDeleteI had a fear of miscarrying as well - part of the reason I was so scared is because even though you can see your little bean moving around, you can't feel it early on. Rest assured, I felt Mason move for the first time around 16 weeks and from then on I would always breathe a sigh of relief every time he moved.
Also, you are NOT chubby in the slightest! You will be such a cute momma and I am so excited for you! Hang in there and take lots of naps (being prego is a lot of work so you deserve naps!)
