Since Shane and I got married, we have had some crazy adventures in the bedroom! You see, Shane is a big sleep talker, so I record his talking when I can.
The following are some exact quotes from him:
"I'm sorry, I have the wrong number. They said to call back in two days to see if they want us to come."
"You don't think I see it?! I'm looking at it right now! It's causing my butt crack to spread. I wish I wasn't here, I want to be in the door knob."
"If you dial down the center, you can save some money that can go towards buying a new gazebo."
"We're stuck on this stupid ship, but it could be worse, we could be stuck in the audience. Heh heh heh."
"It tasted like chocolate, but I've never had a krispy kreme donut."
*Shane farts*
Candice: "What was that?"
Shane" The baby farted, the baby farted on my hand."
"BMW Triumph, the dealership has it. I need to find the red one so they'll stop looking for me. I don't have clothes on."
"I'm grabbing Snoopy. Turn off the light."
"Madonna."
"I don't like this. We should move to California where there's earthquakes."
"We're not naked. I'm not naked. I thought you didn't like this movie."
"Do we have a rocket? I don't want to put a baby in a rocket. The boy's name is gonna be Sonic the Hedgehog. I don't know girl names, he wears a dress. Forty-two."
"Yeah she'd probably pee."
"I'm not done! What are you talking about? I don't wanna talk about me!"
"Who is this? I've had that question asked three times twice."
"I don't remember how my hand got here. I'm having thought bubbles."
There are many more funny things that have been said in the past nine months, these are just a few of my favorites. (They may not seem THAT funny, but the voice he uses when he's asleep is hilarious, especially at two-thirty in the morning!)
My husband is so fun!

Oh Money!
Yesterday Shane and I finally set up a joint bank account! We have our bills divided up between our two accounts because it's just easier for us that way. So we decided to leave those accounts how they are and set up a joint account for our spending money, an account we can both put money into and take money out of.
We're pretty excited for it!
(The picture was taken from my phone. . .sorry for the crap resolution.)

Date Night
Since Shane and I only get a couple nights a week to see each other, we try to make the most of them. So last night we decided to go on a date. We went to Sizzler for dinner, Shane got a huge steak and shrimp, and I had the grilled salmon. It was delicious and our server was the greatest! She was friendly and didn't bug us too much, (I hate servers who over-serve.) We then went and saw ParaNorman. I was expecting it to be a complete child's movie, but there were a lot of adult jokes, (and even a few curse words!) The story line was hilarious and kept you interested throughout the whole movie, and besides the oddly proportioned bodies, it was very well done!
For those who don't know. . . .
ParaNorman is about a boy named Norman who can see ghosts. Because of this, he's been labeled as the freak at school. The town he lives in has a history of a witch burning, and one night the seven victims of the witch come out of their grave as zombies and go after Norman. It sounds weird and maybe a little dumb, but really though, it was a crack-up!

2017
Where do I see myself in five years?
In five years I will be 27 years old.
Whoa, I'll be an old lady almost!
I hope by then:
Shane and I will have at least two little kiddos.
To have a Labradoodle.
To be living in a house.
Shane and I will both be down to one job each, not two.
Our car Finnegan will be gone and replaced with a truck.
Our other car, Miley, will be paid off.
To be financially stable.
To be closer to God. I'm not doing all that I can to be close to him, and I hope by then that has changed. I hope I can be a more spiritual person, and that will make me a happier person.
Shane and I are still acting like newlyweds, and even more in love than we are now, (if that's even possible.)
For Shane to have his Bachelors and me to have my Associates, (we're both so close, we just need to find the time and money to finish.)
To be healthier than I am now, (I seriously need to cut back on my soda intake.

Playing Catch Up
My adorable little niece turned 3 years old on August 11th! She is such a cute girly! She had a Phineas and Ferb birthday party, (but sadly Shane and I missed it because of work.) We gave her a guitar that looks like a dog, it's pretty much awesome and I may or may not have played with it a lot before giving it to her.
Last week I'd been having a rough day, and when I got home from work I found my husband with some Diet Coke, movie tickets, and flowers! Isn't he the greatest? We saw Step Up 4, (something I'd been wanting to see for a while.) It was exactly what is expected of a 4th movie - bad acting and crap story line. HOWEVER, it's worth seeing just for the dancing, which is incredible!

Shane and I both work between 55 and 60 hours a week, and it blows! We were so spoiled when we first got married! We made great money and never worked nights or weekends, but things have changed now and sadly, we only get 2-3 nights a week together. So when we do have a night off we like to go on dates! Usually they consist of dinner at Sizzler and a movie. It's not much, but it's enough for us. (And the food at Sizzler is the best! Shane always gets the steak and endless and shrimp, while I get grilled salmon and rice. It's an amazing meal, especially for the price!!)
Shane and I love art and colors, so the other day we bought some canvases, painter's tape, and paint. We painted some awesome pictures to hang once we're in our new place. Unfortunately, the only picture I have of them right now is while we were painting them. I will post a picture of the finished products once I take one.
We get bored of the same things fast, so over the weekend we moved our family room to the bedroom and bedroom to the family room. It's awesome and we figured, why not?? If we don't do it now, we never will!

My Deepest Apologies
I apologize for not being very interesting. Sometimes life gets in the way of fun, and sometimes people are just boring. Here are a few of the less boring, but still kinda boring things that have been going on in our lives and in my mind lately. Ready go!
- Shane and I went on our first date a year ago yesterday! On August 9, 2011, Shane picked me up on his motorcycle and we went for a ride. After that we played hopscotch and swung on some swings for a little while. We then went for a walk and ended the night talking on my porch swing. Since that day, we have not gone a single day without seeing each other, (yes, we are THAT obsessed and in love.)
- I read an article on yahoo.com about a lady who'd been having itching and aches in her ear, so she went to the doctor. When he looked in her ear, he discovered a spider had been living in it for FIVE DAYS!! Is that not the most disgusting thing?! THAT is why I sleep with hair over my ears. Oh gag.
- I hate doctor bills. I feel like I've been to the doctor so much recently, (ovarian cysts, strep throat, etc.) and Shane has too, (abnormal bruising, trouble breathing, etc.) Nothing we've gone for has been too serious, but we have paid so much in doctor bills! They charge for everything at the doctor! I have decided we will no longer be going to the doctor unless there is a bone sticking out of our body!!
- Shane and I love movies, even though they're a bit of a waste of money. We usually don't go to a lot in the theater, but for some reason we've been going quite a bit lately. We saw:
- The Amazing Spiderman: It was amazing. Andrew Garfield was well cast and actually looked the part! (People have complained that he's too skinny, but come on people! Spiderman isn't The Hulk, he's supposed to be a bit on the scrawny side.) Emma Stone was also fantastic in the movie. Her acting was full of emotion, I almost cried a couple times! And there was a scene after the credits that was intense, I hope no one missed that part!
- The Dark Knight Rises: I wasn't sure if I was going to like this because I didn't really like the other two. However, I am very into dark and violent movies, and this was just that! My favorite thing about the movie was Tom Hardy. I didn't even realize he was Bane at first, I was just obsessed with how awesome his voice sounded. It was a great movie and a must see!
- Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days: This movie was hilarious, if you're into these types of movies. If you didn't like the other two, don't waste your time. Shane and I happen to love Diary of A Wimpy Kid and we found this one just as funny and entertaining as the others.
- Total Recall: A lot of people have been raving about how great this movie is, but I wasn't impressed. I even dozed off in the first little bit, (if you like simplicity, this movie is not for you.) I felt a lot of the scenes were complicated and tired my brain. I also wasn't too thrilled about the nudity. A lady with three boobs is not something I like to see, and now it's burned into my brain. It was so random and had nothing to do with the movie, it would have been better without.
- Pandora is saving my life at work right now. Both my bosses are out of town, so it's just me in the office. I don't mind being alone, but nine hours of it not at home isn't that great. If I didn't have Pandora to listen to my folk music, I think I'd lose it.
- Our apartment's lease is up in November and we are stoked because we hate the apartments we live in. We have a place in mind that we want to move to, but it may not work out. If it doesn't, we'll try to move to some apartments closer to our day jobs. But apartments are ridiculously expensive now!! We can't find anything for under $800 month. It's such a joke. If anyone knows of anywhere that is pretty decent and less than $800 a month in West Valley City, Taylorsville, West Jordan, or South Jordan, please let us know! We would greatly appreciate it!
Well that's about all I have to say for right now. . . so. . . The end?

Birthday Boy!
Shane turned 25 years old on July 28th. He didn't want to spend a lot of money going anywhere, so we did a lot of little things during the day.
He chose to open his gifts first.
I told Shane he could have whatever he wanted for breakfast. He chose to have cereal in ice cream. He wanted to eat it in the bathroom instead of in bed.
We went to some garage sales, but didn't see anything very awesome.
We went on a target run for one thing, and came home with a lot more.
We got a roll of toilet paper and taped it to our friend's door who lives a couple doors down from us. That's the only way you can toilet paper an apartment.
New chairs! They are comfy!
We had a 90 minute nerf gun fight with Shane's new guns, and then we shot at the balcony door for an hour.
It was really fun!
We decorated an entire pair of Shane's pants while we watched The Three Musketeers.
I gave Shane a mermaid tattoo.
Shane drew a copy of a painting we saw at a garage sale. It was hilarious and I wanted to buy it, but Shane said no. 10 points if you can tell what it is.
Dinner at Red Lantern, yum!!
It was raining when we got home from dinner, so we waited it out in the car.
We set up our tent in the family room and camped out in it that night.
I planned a surprise party for Shane. He had no idea and was indeed surprised when we got to my parent's house and everyone was there. It was a fun event, almost all of our closest friends were there.
We had a fun, busy, exhausting day!
Happy 25th Birthday to my handsome husband, Shane! I love him more than anything and am so happy he was brought into this world! I don't know what I would do without him!

New Job
Hello world!
I got a new job as an office assistant for a company called Dura-Tuff Wear Products! I give quotes and take orders for grouser bar, file a lot of different things, open mail, and do everything I'm told. I work with really fun people in a stress free environment and I am learning all about bulldozers and Microsoft Excel!
This job came just when we needed it most, and we couldn't be more grateful.
See the bars on the shoes of the bulldozer? We sell those bars to companies all over the world, so that they can spend a couple thousand on bars to weld onto the shoes instead of spending ten times as much buying completely new shoes.
